"THE THREE BEARS RAFFLE"
Three lucky winners will each take home one of these locally made, handcrafted bears. Ticket sales start at the Cass City Freedom Festival, during which time, the artist Ed Faust of Caro will be on hand to perform a live demonstration of his craft. The tickets sales will continue until Summer Mania, on August 6, 2010. Tickets are $5.00 apiece and the three lucky winners will be announced at the Music in the Park on Friday, August 6, during Summer Mania. Each of the winners will have the pleasure of walking home with one of these wonderful handcrafted creations. Please stop in to the Chamber of Commerce office to see the bears first hand and remember to get your tickets! The Cass City Chamber of Commerce, which was incorporated in 1951, is organized to advance the general welfare and prosperity of the Village of Cass City, as well as the surrounding area, so that its citizens and all areas of its business community shall prosper. All necessary means of promotion shall be provided, and particular attention and emphasis shall be given to the economic, civic, commercial, cultural, industrial, and educational interests of the area.
The Chamber is run by a Board of Directors which meets the second Friday of each month at 8:30 AM at various locations within the community. Visitors are always welcome. Please click on Board Information in the Main Menu and select Board Meetings or call the Chamber office at (989) 872-4618 to find out the location of our next meeting. A sign listing the date and location of our next meeting is also located in the window of the Chamber Office, and the information is also posted on the Village electronic sign, located on the Municipal Building.
The Chamber can support area businesses with direct referrals and by advertising special events at the office, in the newsletter, and on the web site. By working together with our members, we continually strive to build Cass City into an even more dynamic community.
